Social Justice Welcome me back to blogdrive. Haha.. (lol) Maybe we should apply a bigger fine for people (just like me) who fail to make a blog on a regular basis. Hehe.. Anyway, we're doing a call campaign right now for Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (I hope every NYI should also be educated about this global ministry) and we're calling child sponsors all over the US of A. Mostly the funds coming from this campaign goes to children in the Third World countries just like the Philippines. It is used primarily to sustain education of Pastors' kids and poor children. The Bible says, "Speak up for those who can't speak for themselves. Speak up for the rights of all those who are poor." (Proverbs 31:8, NIRV) God is calling people to action. God is calling us to be social justices and ambassadors. This is not to speak about discrimination, inequality, fighting for human rights. This is living compassion as a lifestyle.
First time! It's my first time to create (c Ricci pa ang gumawa) and add a blog.. Haha.. Cool.. Thanks JE for pushing us through with this. Yeah you're right, no excuses! I just want to share about the song played by Gencon's P&W Team last Sunday. I googled it out. And I've been listening to it for three straight days now. It's Hillsong's "Deeper". The song goes like this: "Jesus, hold me into Your heart Into Your heart Lord my soul delights And I know You hear my prayer Take me deeper Lord." Isn't that amazing? That we can always find security that God hears our prayer? That the very Lord of all promised an undying love for you and for me, that won't fail? That He wished us to grow deeper in Him, and still understands us when we err? Awesome GOD! May you delight in HIM!
